Bio

Born in Ushuaia in 1986, I lived my childhood surrounded by nature; snowy landscapes, forests, walks to the mountains, horseback riding, and mysterious sailboats in the bay that were part of a scene that I usually saw as I passed by.

That's where I grew up, between rally races, sibling games, sibling fights, stories that my mother read to us at night, stories about the native people and shipwreck finds. At home we were only allowed to see 1 hour of Tv at that time, so imagination and creativity ran free.

When I finished high school, in Ushuaia, there were not many options to continue developing my studies in what I wanted, acting at the moment, which is why in 2004 I moved to Buenos Aires, and changed my skin like a snake.

Always dreamy, creative, curious. Even amidst that mental turmoil, I understood that I had an internal restlessness that was only going to be appeased by going through, and experiencing, different paths.

In the beginning it was theater, due to the fact that I believed that there were so many things I wanted to do that only living in an imaginary continuum could I do them. Refuting my own theory I decided I wanted to create my own history and not only being a player. It meant having to abandon some of my plans, at least temporarily... but making a study of myself and possible future scenarios I felt that visual art was going to allow me to create the world I wanted.

During my years in the big city I went through various careers and courses related to art hoping to find myself in one of them. I studied Theater, Art Direction, Clothing Design, Illustration and Photography, for example. And those are just some of the specialties in which I immersed myself, nourishing with the elements of each one. It was not until the year 2015 with my first installation, "Bitácora", that I found the best way to use and integrate all the ingredients acquired during my search.

I am a “Sensation Hunter'' and I am guided by an insatiable need for experimentation.
After returning to Ushuaia on 2017, I found myself re-discovering by birth place and a new stage as an artist begun. Colour and texture appeared for the first time, and the themes which used to be mostly monochrome portraits, were influenced by the history of my island, nature, mountains, forestes and the sea, giving birth to my first murals and the medium-reliefs sculptures.

On the last three years sailing has become part of my everyday life and one the most inspiring themes I have nowadays, keeping it as life style aiming to mix these two passions that have grown in me.

Among other recognitions, I was  selected twice for the Itaú Cultural Prize for Visual Arts (2015 and 2017) and for the Bienal de Arte Joven UNL XVIII edition . In charge of Art in the  International Mountain Film Festival "Ushuaia Shh ", Exhibitor at the Museum of the Presidio of the End of the World , Fuegian Museum of Art , House of Culture of TDF , College of Architects of TDF , Laboratorio Marte (BsAs), Zafarrancho Studio (BsAs) .
