“Bitácora” is a journey in time where, through a notebook that is inside a display case staged as an unknown coast, we relive sensations that are also transmitted through a video where the artist allows us to spy with him on each portrait, drawing, and person; a character that he could have known in an imaginary time.
The book is placed on the representation of a coast, made up of stones and snails. It's the search for experience over contemplation. The staging itself generates the sensation of a journey, of the coast, and of the introspection that the work raises. One can be transported to that place, but each spectator is the one who makes the discovery.
